She tells Leena to continue posing as "Esther" instead of leaving, as a way to avoid Allen from realizing the truth. Arriving at the address, Tricia sees "Esther" about to kill Donnan, but Tricia uses her gun to finish the job, until pointing it at "Esther". Taking a look inside, she sees a picture of Detective Donnan and his address written on it. Tricia grows suspicious of "Esther" upon witnessing the small little book she had with her from the Saarne Institute, and after "Esther" sees Tricia about to read it, she snatches it from her hand, with Tricia exclaiming that she 'lost her watch', which was an obvious lie.Īfter going out to dinner with Allen, the two drive back to the house where Tricia comes across the book again. ![]() ![]() Upon taking her home, Tricia witnesses "Esther" bonding with Allen in his art studio, including creating a portrait of himself. While the therapist conversated with Tricia, "Esther" fakes being hurt after tearing apart her own dress and hitting herself in the face, pinning the blame on the boy who spied on "Esther". After bringing "Esther" home, Tricia chooses to take her to a therapist in order to catch up on what she missed over the past four years. Upon meeting "Esther" in Moscow, she reconciles with her and reunites her with the rest of her family. Her overprotectiveness of her family gets the better of her, however, and she secretly tries to find ways to kill Leena so that she and her family could continue on with their lives, without Esther nor "Leena" ruining it for her.Īfter the fencing tournament that her son, Gunnar, participated in, Tricia and her husband Allen received a message from Detective Donnan that their daughter, Esther, has been found after she was announced missing for over four years. Tricia is shown to believe highly of her status, taking great pride in being a descendant of a mayflower family, and claiming that she and her family helped build the country, cementing her domineering, and authoritative personality. She is also shown to have a haughty, and arrogant side, bragging to Esther about telling the truth about her identity to her husband, and outright directly threatening Esther on multiple occasions, as well as making derogatory remarks about her hypopituitarism. After Leena Klammer took on the role of "Esther", Tricia knew from the beginning that it isn't her daughter, but after realizing this, and killing off Detective Donnan, she became adamant of Leena continuing to pose as "Esther". In order to keep this secret from her husband, she and Gunnar hid Esther's body in a well, with Tricia sometimes visiting said well. When her son Gunnar accidentally killed Esther with his fencing equipment, she was driven into madness as she tried to protect her family, even to the point of keeping Gunnar from being arrested, or explaining Esther's death to the authorities. Throughout the film, she was portrayed as a kind, virtuous, and loving person who cared about her family the most, especially her daughter, Esther, but this was all a façade, as she knows that "Esther" isn't who she says she is, and knows what truly happened to her. She had so much hate in her heart! But at the same time, she is good in being protective. Tricia seems to be just a woman who likes to care of her family and socialize, but in the deep she is bloodthirsty and vengeful, being able to do the most brutal things to make her desired reality to be truth. ![]() Tricia is a brunette white mid-age woman with light brown eyes and kinda athletic body. ![]()
